The privacy policy for the AirGap PDF iOS app.
Last updated: June 21, 2026
The short version: AirGap PDF runs entirely on your device. It contains no networking code, collects no personal data, uses no analytics, and never uploads your files. There is no account and no sign-in. Everything you do stays on your iPhone or iPad.
This Privacy Policy explains how AirGap PDF ("the app", "we", "us") handles information. AirGap PDF is published by Minimo. By using the app, you agree to this policy.
AirGap PDF does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. We do not have servers that receive your data, because the app has no networking capability. We cannot see your documents, your activity, or anything else about how you use the app.
Every action — signing, compressing, merging, splitting, rotating, scanning, and password-protecting PDFs — is performed locally on your device using Apple's on-device frameworks. Your files are never uploaded, copied to the cloud, or sent anywhere. They remain in your device's storage under your control. You can confirm this yourself: put your device in Airplane Mode and the app works exactly the same.
If you use the Scan feature, the app requests permission to use your camera solely to capture pages and turn them into a PDF. Captured images are processed entirely on your device and are never transmitted. AirGap PDF does not access your camera for any other purpose.
When you import a PDF or a signature image, you explicitly choose that file through the system file picker or photo picker. The app only accesses the specific item you select, only for the operation you requested, and only on your device. It does not scan, index, or upload your photo library or files.
AirGap PDF offers a one-time, non-subscription purchase to unlock unlimited use. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never receive or store your name, payment card, or Apple Account details. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The app stores a single on-device flag indicating whether the unlock has been purchased; this never leaves your device.
AirGap PDF includes no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no crash-reporting services. We do not use cookies, device identifiers, or any third-party measurement tools. There is nothing to opt out of, because none of it exists in the app.
The app integrates no third-party services. The only external party involved is Apple, and only for processing your optional in-app purchase, as described above.
Because your documents never leave your device, the primary protection of your data is your device itself. We recommend using a passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. PDFs you password-protect within the app are encrypted using standard PDF encryption, and the password is known only to you — we cannot recover it.
AirGap PDF does not collect any information from anyone, including children. The app contains no data collection, advertising, or external links to user-generated content.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change in the app's release notes. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
