AirGap AI ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to absolute privacy. AirGap AI is a document processing application designed to run entirely offline, utilizing on-device Foundation Models on Apple devices. We believe that your private files and data should remain completely under your control at all times.

Our Privacy Commitment

This is a zero-data-collection app featuring:

• 🔒 0 Bytes Uploaded: Every PDF, image, and text document you analyze stays on your device.
• 🔌 100% Offline AI: All summaries, extraction, and redaction are processed locally using Apple's on-device models. You can use all AI features in Airplane Mode.
• ❌ No Backend Servers: We do not operate server infrastructure to receive, view, or process your documents.
• ❌ No Ad Tracking: We do not track you across other apps or websites and include no advertising SDKs.
• ❌ No Cloud Syncing: Your library is managed completely within the app's local sandbox on your device.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any personal information or sensitive user data. Specifically:

• ❌ No Document Content: We have no access to the text, metadata, or contents of the PDFs and documents you open.
• ❌ No Personal Details: No registration, name, email address, or phone number is required to use the app.
• ❌ No Analytics or Logs: We do not track app usage patterns, click histories, or feature engagements.
• ❌ No Device or Location Data: We do not collect device identifiers (such as IDFA) or location coordinates.

Information Stored (Locally Only)

The app only saves essential configuration and local app state inside its local sandbox on your device:

• ✅ Local Library Index: References to documents you import so you can access them within the app.
• ✅ Purchase Status: To remember if you have unlocked the premium version of the app. This is processed securely via Apple.

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store & In-App Purchases

AirGap AI offers in-app purchases. All transactions and purchase verifications are processed directly by Apple. We do not collect or store credit card details or payment credentials.

No External APIs

Unlike traditional AI tools, AirGap AI does not make API calls to third-party language models or external servers to analyze documents. Everything is performed natively on-device.

Device Permissions

To provide its functionality, the app may request the following permissions:

• Files / Documents Access: To allow you to import PDFs or export processed documents. Files are processed locally.
• Camera Access: (Optional) To scan physical paper documents into PDF format locally.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store any of your data, there is no personal data of yours in our possession to access, transfer, or delete. If you wish to delete all locally stored application preferences and library documents, you can do so at any time by simply deleting the application from your device.
